Neutrogena Norwegian: Taking Back your Hands from Old Man Winter

Taking Back your Hands from Old Man Winter

It's no secret that I love a good manicure. Unfortunately for me, and many others, winter takes a big and unattractive toll on the digits. Thankfully, Neutrogena is providing us with a solution to the winter-hands problem with their Norwegian Formula line of hand creams, it keeps your hands looking great in even the harshest of conditions. Buzz Agent has given me the opportunity to try this product for free, and I'm liking the results thus far!

Personally, I find paying for a manicure to be a waste of hard-earned cash if doing it on the regular, so I  prefer to do them myself. Although it is a personal learning experience, figuring out what works and looks best for you, it's a very rewarding one when you realize how much money you save! How do I do it? Well I never thought you'd ask!
  • Firstly, start with a warm water soak. This will help to soften the cuticle, making them easier to push-back and nip.
  • After your hands have been thoroughly soaked, use a cuticle pusher to push back your cuticles. Then, use a cuticle nipper to carefully nip off the access or ragged skin around your nails.
  • Once the cuticles have been taken care of, I like to take a teaspoon of sugar and mix it in to a small palm-full of nourishing hand soap. Finding a soap with a specific benefit to your nails is preferred, but in reality, any hand soap will do the trick. Mix the sugar with the soap well, and massage into pre-moistened hands. Do this until all (or most) of the sugar is dissolved, this should take around 2 minutes. Rinse well! This step takes care of any dead or rough skin on the hands, and leaves them feeling soft and looking radiant.
  • Now for the polish! This step is optional, but highly recommended. I have a liking for nail art, when the time is available. One of my favorite resources for tutorials and ideas is a YouTube channel by CutePolish. They have a ton of great easy-to-accomplish designs. See for yourself here: https://www.youtube.com/user/cutepolish
  • After your polish has been top-coated and thoroughly dried, it's time for the most important finishing touch: to seal in your newly fabulous hands. The Neutrogena Norwegian Hand Cream line makes for the perfect cherry-on-top to your manicures. The highly concentrated formula is glycerin rich to help seal in moisture, and is proven to help keep your hands, cuticles, and nails looking great. Best part? A tiny bit goes a LONG way, so a bottle will last you a good while and give you a great bang for your buck!

Green Mountain and the Benefits of Fair Trade

Fair trade is a thing that all companies should strive for. It enables the farmers/producers of products in developing countries to get a fair price for their products, aids their communities, and helps working conditions. Combine this with great coffee, and you really can't go wrong. Green Mountain is taking great leaps in advocating the benefits of fair trade, while supplying you with some of the best coffee around. With such a plethora of flavors, they really do have something for everyone, while ensuring that coffee farming can continue to be prosperous. So, pretty much, everyone wins. Green Mountain is sold at major retailers, and is also a leading supplier of K-Cups for Keurig home brewers. I'd highly recommend supporting this cause and drinking this great coffee!

My personal favorites? Pumpkin Spice and Wild Mountain Blueberry. Although, in all honesty, Green Mountain offers so many flavors, I am yet to try them all.

They also have a pretty awesome Facebook page, and do frequent sample giveaways. Check them out here:

An Obligatory Introduction Entry

As a long-time agent with BzzAgent.com, I'm often invited to BzzCampaigns. During a BzzCampaign, you are sent products (or product coupons) to test as well as share with friends and family. Once you test the product, spread word about a product, or get feedback from the lucky people you've shared your awesome campaign swag with, an agent is to report back these findings and observations to BuzzAgent.com. BzzAgent is a fabulous WOM (word of mouth) marketing company which revolves around sharing one's honest opinion. I, after 3 years of Bzzing, have realized that there is hardly a better outlet to spread that word than blogging my own unbiased opinions of the products I've tried!

Hopefully you will enjoy reading the reviews as much as I'll enjoy creating them.
